Director/Business Development & Risk Wayne Carney participated in the campaign for Christopher Minns (Chris) when he was running for the local member of Kogarah.

We wish to extend our congratulations to The Hon. (Chris) Christopher John Minns, MP who has since become the NSW Premier.

Wayne said that “attending the campaign was a valuable experience for both himself and the community. Chris’s values align with our business and local community goals and it was a pleasure to be apart of his campaign. It was great to meet and engage with like minded professionals”.

At The Business School (TBS), we are committed to building relationships with other business representatives, community members and leaders. Overall, attending the campaign for Chris was a positive way to engage with the community and demonstrate TBS’s commitment to making a positive impact.

Celebrating 50 years since the election of the Whitlam Government, Wayne attended Prime Minister Anthony Albanese event earlier in the year.

Last year marked 50 years since the 1972 election, where Gough Whitlam led Labor to victory after 23 years of opposition. The Whitlam Government left an unprecedented mark on Australia, with sweeping reforms of the nation’s economic and cultural affairs, cementing his place as a giant of our party.
To commemorate the occasion, Chris Bowen, Jason Clare and Anne Stanley hosted a sit down dinner, with a keynote address to be given by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
