At TBS we believe that community is everything

Being part of a community makes you a better leader, a better learner and a better person. As an Educational Institution, being an active part of the community helps us stay connected and support our students, trainers and staff better.

Being a part of your community can have positive effects on your mental health and emotional wellbeing. Community involvement provides an even greater sense of belonging and improves social connectedness. It can also offer extra meaning and purpose to everyday life.

There are many activities that can help increase your sense of belonging. Learning a language, volunteering, joining a sporting or parenting group are a few options.

Diversity in the community

As a domestic and international training organisation, we believe the most important contribution that all students bring is diversity into the community. In today’s interconnected world, it is more important than ever to have a greater understanding of different cultures, traditions and languages. Students who are part of communities are more likely to succeed. This can be through classroom communities to clubs and organisations.

We are proud to be a member of The Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce.

Let’s connect

We are excited to build our network and get to know our community better

You may see us at future events hosted by the CBCC or at other local events. Our campus doors are open for anyone within the community that would like to come and explore The Business School or The English Language School. Come and say hello and arrange a tour, simply email us to book in a day and time. If you have a community event coming up, we would love you to share this with us.

As human beings we need a sense of belonging, and that sense of belonging is what connects us to the many relationships we develop and in particular in our professional endeavours.
