The Business School (TBS) is a registered training organisation delivering accredited vocational education courses plus specialised industry and business, leadership, management and social media marketing programs as well as English language courses.

Meet The Directors

The Business School was founded in 2016 by a team of professionals with many years’ experience in the education and administrative industries. We are driven with a clear purpose: To be the centre of excellence and opportunity in business and education. We recognise the importance and benefits of combining real industry experience with education when striving to deliver programs of the highest quality and relevance to our cohorts”.

We aim to produce graduates who are professional and confident in the English Language, leaders in their industry and capable of engaging actively in the Australian business environment. The Business School is committed to providing quality, industry relevant and affordable courses for students, both local and international and clients and stakeholders.

Chandra Sundaresan
CEO and Director

Chandra has a long-standing record of professionalism and integrity in the Vocational and Higher education sectors in Australia spanning over 2 decades. He holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree with Distinction in Information Technology majoring in software engineering, and is also a certified trainer & qualified assessor. He has served in key roles in various organisations across both the higher education and vocational sectors which include Vice President, Academic Director, Deputy Principal, Director of Studies, Managing Director and Marketing Director. He has also set up and managed his own fully accredited RTO.

Chandra is managing and overseeing the entire operations of The Business School, both onshore and offshore for the VET and ELICOS sectors. Some of these would include marketing, student recruitment, IT, admissions, student support departments as well as coordinating with the Director of Studies and the Academic Manager to ensure competency and quality are maintained across academics, trainers, and teachers. Chandra’s skill lies in establishing clear policies and goals, meeting regulatory and accrediting bodies’ requirements, building relationships with partner institutions and industries which will ensure TBS reaches and maintains a high level of compliance.

It is Chandra’s vision to create a seamless transition and pathway between competency and academic based learning, for both domestic and international students, ensuring the mettle of graduates and keeping TBS as an institution of high standing and repute, a coveted organisation.

Wayne Carney
Director

Wayne has 30 years’ experience as a leader and trainer in both the public and private sectors.  He has designed and delivered training courses as a police officer, a branch head within government, and as a training consultant to a diverse range of high-profile clients.

Chris Hudson
Director

Chris as a diverse professional, commercial and academic track record. His career includes 8 years Professional Development & Learning Academy – Director Business Development, 22 years Southern Cross University – Director MPA, Director of International & Industry Programs, Academic Director – Domestic Collaborations, 13 years with NSW TAFE.

John Corrigan
Director

John’s professional experience includes a number of years in financial and management consulting; various financial management roles (from cost accountant to finance director), both nationally and internationally; a sessional lecturer in accounting and management at both undergraduate and post graduate level.

Bill Renwick
Director

Bill is a CPA with over 40 years of experience in management accounting, accounting information systems, TAFE teaching and university lecturing in accounting, as well as holding senior (CEO) management positions in the private sector.

The Business School strictly adheres to the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015 to continue delivering training services of the highest quality to their clients. In addition, TBS also complies with the Education Services for Overseas Students Act and associated legislation from the ESOS Framework. This is the legal framework which provides a consistent national approach to the registration of education providers so that the quality of the training, and the care of students, remains high. ESOS also provides tuition fee protection for international students.
